Aprproach and service
Our aim is to to provide superior child care for children between 6 months and 7 years. We as providers try best to create, maintain and improve our setting to meet the highest standards and best possible experience for your children. It is totally owner run, the Creche is our idea our passion and our responsibility.
Blue Kangaroo Creche will provide the following:
- Lunch back at the creche, supervised by our staff.
- Afternoon activities such as games, art and crafts and outdoor activities such as tobogganing or nature trails, weather permitting.
- Healthy afternoon tea.
If your children are not taking skiing lessons, then they will be looked after for the whole day.
Please bear in mind that if you decide to take your child out of the crache to spend more time with them, the day is paid for in advance and therefore no refunds are able to be given.
Our childcare service
Organized by age, all four of our clubs offer a stimulating daily programme of activities in a friendly, safe environment.
Baby club
/6 to 12 months/
Held in our bright, toy-filled, in house creches, the baby club is for our tiniest guests. The club runs six six days a week from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. We try to ensure that each keyworker looks after no more than tow babies and that children have the same keyworker all week. We try to stick to each child’s normal routine for naps, milk and feeds.
Toddler club
/1 to 3 years/
Located alongside the baby club, this club provides stimulating play for toddlers, whether they are walkers or crawlers. Each nanny looks after no more than 3 toddlers and we try to ensure that children have the same nanny all week. Our nannies organize a lively program of games, music and stories to keep the little ones amused. Weather permitting there are also buggy outings for everyone and snow play for the older toddlers.
Mini club
/3 to 5 years/
Children aged 3-5 enjoy a fun-packed programme of activities six days of the week. Indoors, there are arts and crafts, face, painting and games. Outdoor excitement might include cable-car rides and snowman-building. Each keyworker looks after up to 6 children. We’re happy to arrange either full day or half-day ski school for 4 to 5 year olds, with drop-off and collection by the childcare staff.
Kids club
/5 -7 years/
Run on weekdays from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, this club is for 6-8 year old skiers and non-skiers. Non-skiers spend the day enjoying a range of indoor and outdoor activities such as treasure hunts, tobogganing and hot chocolate trips, with skiers joining in the fun after their lessons.
Babysitting
Babysitting is offered with additional charge, normally from 19.00h or 19.30h for up to four hours. The service is only available to those who have booked the creche or nanny service. Similar nanny: child ratios to those above apply to the babysitting. As only a limited number of staff is available, this service is offered on a first come first served basis and should be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
